FNA designed a work practice and billing system that
suited Capespan
and took account of multiple on-site days, remote working
and travel costs. FNA soon realised that the client
needed key support for the IS Manager to allow him to
operate at an optimum performance level, something that
Capespan's IS Manager, Trevor Hanna appreciated. "It's
very difficult to get good project management, especially
when you are looking for the right mix of commercial
experience and technical knowledge. Fairburn Nicholson
not only have that mix, but their ability to stay focussed
throughout the project made life so much easier for
us," says Trevor Hanna.
"We concentrated on providing cover for the IS
Manager and reducing his work load. We made sure he
was aware of what he needed to know at the right time
and didn't bother him with the detail. The success came
in watching the detail, building relationships and communicating
